Zuzana Lukšová

Zuzana Lukšová is a researcher at the department of Classical Studies, Masaryk University, Faculty of Arts in Brno, Czech Republic.

Zuzana played an important role in the preparation of Matthias of Knín’s quodlibet handbook transcription and compiled a catalogue of the so-called problemata. She also worked on editions of the arguments presented by the quodlibetarius focusing on astronomy.

Her research interests include preaching in the pre-Hussite period and especially the sermons of Jan Hus; she is one of the editors of the Magistri Iohannis Hus opera omnia at the Faculty of Arts at the Masaryk University in Brno, and has published a monograph on Jan Hus’s synod preaching (Die Synodalpredigt von Jan Hus Diliges Dominum Deum, FAU University press, 2021). She is interested in the exegetic works of Nicolaus de Lyra and their reception in the Czech Lands, and has been involved in the preparation of Latin edition of Nicolaus de Lyra’s interpretation of the Gospel according to Matthew (Výklad Mikuláše Lyry na evangelium sv. Matouše, Scriptorium, 2018).
