Ota Pavlíček
Ota likes to explore neglected texts and textual corpora originating from medieval universities and applying Digital Humanities tools to these sources. He is committed to transdisciplinary research and enjoys working on projects on medieval thought with research teams composed of specialists across the field. Having started as an enthusiast for the University of Prague, John Hus and Jerome of Prague, he now focuses on the understanding of the European phenomenon of Arts quodlibetal debates from the 14th to 17th centuries in the framework of his GACR Q1409 and ERC ACADEMIA funded projects.

Luigi Campi
Luigi is a historian of medieval philosophy who started as an editor and interpreter of the writings of John Wyclif (De scientia Dei). His interest in the history of Bohemian Reformation continues in his exploration of the Prague Faculty of Arts and the work of scholars who, despite their seemingly minor importance, became important players in the events of the time.

Lukáš Lička
Lukáš enjoys disentangling the knots of influences in the fabric of late medieval intellectual practices. He focuses mainly on medieval optical (perspectiva) and psychological (de anima) traditions, as mirrored in late medieval university disputations in Prague and beyond.

Zuzana Lukšová
Zuzana is above all an enthusiatic editor – she is fascinated by the process whereby medieval Latin manuscripts are turned into critical editions and made accessible to modern readers. She is also interested in the Latin literary output of scholars at the University of Prague in the Late Middle Ages, and especially their sermons, exegetic works and texts about astronomy.

Karel Dobiáš
Karel is a medieval fencing enthusiast. Fencing, or more precisely late medieval and early modern textbooks on the subject – ‘fight books’ written in Latin, is the subject of his doctoral thesis. Karel’s other research interests include literary production in Latin at the University of Prague during the late medieval period (especially the creation of modern critical editions), and medieval prognoses in medical astrology.

Soňa Hudíková
Soňa is fascinated by the world of medieval manuscripts, especially by the way modern editions are created and made accessible to contemporary readers. In her research, she focuses on medieval literature in Latin, especially on medieval rhetoric, theoretical handbooks and exemplary letters.

Michal Dragoun
Michal is a codicologist; he examines texts preserved in manuscripts and investigates their origin by asking where and why they were written, read and used.

Miroslav Hanke
Miroslav is a historian of logic focusing on the scholastic tradition between 1300 and 1700.
